  • December 2021 – Awarded a trophy and appreciation letter by Katoo Village, Mitamisyi Location, Ngomeni Ward, Kitui County, in recognition of being the first person from Mitamisyi Location to graduate with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). This honor reflects both a personal milestone and a source of inspiration for the community.

  • March 2025 - April 2025: Awarded a scholarship by the East Africa Kiswahili Commission to participate in the Kiswahili stakeholders' exchange mobility program at Nyambari Nyangwine Publishers in Tanzania.
  • October 2023 - February 2024: Awarded a scholarship by the Inter-University Council for East Africa to participate in a staff exchange mobility program at Tumaini University-Makumira, Tanzania.
  • March 2023 - June 2023: Awarded a scholarship by the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) for a Certificate in Kenya Sign Language, offered by Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE).
