
CHRP Erastus M. Ndeleva, MSHRM, CPM, MIHRM
Director, Human Resources Management, South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU)
CHRP CPM Erastus M. Ndeleva is currently the Director, Human Resources Management, South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) responsible for all HR related matters. Prior to this appointment, he was the Principal Human Resources Officer at the County Assembly of Kitui, a legislative government agency where he was responsible for all HR related matters for the last seven (7) years (2017-2024) and helped in the establishment and operationalization of the HR Department.
He was also the pioneer Group Head of Human Resources at Quest Holdings Ltd, a Debt Management firm for three (3) years (2014-2017) as well as the pioneer HR Manager at APEC Consortium Ltd, a Civil Engineering Consultancy firm for another three (3) years (2011-2014).
Before then, Erastus was a tutor in some of the Colleges in Nairobi notably Compuera College, Digital Advisory and Learning Centre (DALC) as well as Universal Group of Colleges for a cumulative period of ten (10) years (2001-2011).
Further, he is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) (K) by the Human Resources Management Professionals Examination Board (HRMPEB). He has also finished a 40 Hour Mediation Course, making him a Certified Professional Mediator (CPM). Currently, he is also pursuing a PhD in HR at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) where he has finished his course work. In addition, he holds a valid practicing licence and a professional membership certificate with the Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM) as well as being a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), a global HRM Community. He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Human Resources Management from the Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM).
He is an alumnus of Kenyatta University where he pursued his Masters of Business in Administration (MBA) Degree with a specialty in Strategic Management.
In terms of experience, he has an overall fifteen (15) years of proven hands-on experience in Human Resources Management practice gained in diverse institutions and settings notably civil engineering, debt management, a legislative government institution and now an institution of higher learning.
