• 1998-2000: Free university of Brussels, Belgium. M.Sc. in Ecological Marine Management (ECOMAMA).                    
• 1992 to 1996:     University of Nairobi, Kenya, College of Biological and Physical Sciences. B.Sc. in Zoology and Botany.

• 2010 - Present: Lecturer in the  Department of Fisheries Management and Aquaculture Technology, South Eastern Kenya University, Kitui, Kenya
• 2008 - 2010: Research Assistant in the Directorate of Research Management and Development, Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology, Nairobi, Kenya
