Dr. Jephitha Kirimi Karuti is a lecturer, academic advisor and a consultant in the area of auditing, Finance, tax and Accounting at the School of Business and Economics, South Eastern Kenya University-SEKU. He graduated with Bachelor of Education (Mathematics and Business Studies) with IT from Maseno University. He obtained his MBA (Accounting Option) from Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST). He later completed PhD in Business Administration (Accounting Option) at Kenya Methodist University (KEMU). He has done extensive research in the area of Accounting and finance and also worked in Meru County Government in department of Accounts and Audit. Dr.Kirimi is a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and Full member of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM). He has also participated in various capacity building workshops and regional conferences organised by ICPAK.
