Dr. Daniel Thuo Ndung’u, is a Lecturer of Finance in the School of Business and Economics, Department of Business and Entrepreneurship at South Eastern Kenya University. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Finance) from Laikipia University, an MBA (Finance) from Kabarak University, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Banking) from Egerton University. Further, he is a member of the Kenya Institute of Bankers. He has over 8 years of teaching experience in Technical Institutes and at the University level. His research interests include development finance, corporate finance, real estate finance, and ESG reporting. He has published and presented scholarly papers at academic conferences as well as attracted a research grant from the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) Foundation for African Real Estate Research, Germany. Additionally, he is a regular contributor to Africa Growth Agenda Magazine, a Pan African peer-reviewed magazine published by the Africa Growth Institute, South Africa. He is also a trained Competency Assessor by the TVET Curriculum, Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC), Kenya.
