Evidence of funds attracted to the university

  • African Development Bank Group-ICT for Youth Empowerment Flagship Project (ICT-4YEP) through Coding for Employment. Has attracted Ten Million Kenyan Shillings (SHS 10 M)
  • Wrote a proposal to train Deputy Principals and Head of departments in Secondary Schools which was later approved by the University management August 2017-December 2017. It attracted six Hundred and twenty two Thousand Kenyan Shillings (Shs 622000). The training was done for the Deputy Principals only. The next training will be done in April, 2019. It is expected to attract One Million, Two Hundred Thousand Shillings only (Shs 1.2 M). It has already been approved by the University Management Board.
  • Wrote a proposal and a curriculum for training teachers on the 21st century teaching skills which attracted funding from Rotary Club Richmond Sunrise, BC Canada, which brought Vocational Training Teachers from British Columbia to train teachers at SEKU and its environs on the 21st Century teaching skills.
